Question:
Whats life like as a black person living in Japan?

I know there arent very many black people living in japan, which is why im asking this question to get some insight hopefully from a few which are, so i am particularly asking for an answer from someone who is black and has lived/lives in Japan.
However any infromation on the topic is welcome.

I have heared that Japan is a particularly conformist nation, who havent had much integration with other races. However, where white people are in control of most of the world, i am guessing that they would be fairly welcoming of white people. But, im sure the xenophobia when it comes to black people would be much more apparent , especially as many of them probably associate black people with crime(something Japan are proud to have low rates of)
At the same time, there are certain things like reggae being fairly popular in Japan, when compared to the rest of Asia and most of Europe.

Great! When you are the minority everyone is attracted to you. All the Japan ladies were on me! ;)

Sorry to burst your herpes sore, but once young Asians integrate with blacks, they start to realize that they are no different than the young guys from their nation: immature, stuck up, womanizers, goofy, rowdy, etc.

I heard they are racist against blacks, but they are more polite about it than the koreans and chinese.
