I wouldn't answer this question seriously because you are surely being stupid and ignorant to the black race.

The reason that you don't know what black people have made is because your ignorant ancestors took everything and claimed it as there own.

Grow the f u c k up.

Oh and when you think of your hair ( wether you are black , white whatever) think of a black person, stupid.

A black man invented the traffic lights we use today. A black man invented and patented the pencil sharpener. Another patented the wrench! The beer keg tap (purchased by the Milwaukee Brewing Company), multiple barrel machine gun, automatic gear shift, and automatic safety brake were all invented by Richard Spikes, a black man. There are a lot of things invented by black people. There are probably a lot of things you use everyday and don't know that it was invented by a black man. Just do some research! And you might want to be careful about how you refer to the "black race", as you call it.

You know what I'm sick of, I'm sick of this country taking money from here and sending it to every other country to help. There is no other country that helps us it's always us giving to someplace else. What about the people that were born here I don't care what color they are. WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN FIRST. Take a look at any big city and look at the amount of homeless we have and what about veterans they went to fight for this country and came home VA hospitals that can't give them the help they need. Stop complaining about blacks in this country because the majority were born here and start bitching about the WHITE WALL STREET KNOW IT ALLS that got us into the situation along with the last two WHITE presidents we had.

Lewis Lattimer was the actual Edison lab worker who invented the carbon filament light bulb.

Jan Ernst Matzeliger invented a machine that made mass production of shoes practical.

Garrett Morgan invented the gas mask and the first traffic light.

The expression 'the real McCoy' refers to part of coal burning trains lubrication system that was invented by Elija McCoy. (competitors substitutes didn't work as well)

Otis Boykin invented electronic control devices in guidance systems for missiles, pacemakers, worked for IBM.

Dr. Patricia E. Bath invented a type of laser surgery for cataract removal that replaced an older mechanical grinding method.

Lonnie G. Johnson invented the supersoaker.

Last time I checked 'American' was a nationality not a race.

There are more, but I don't feel like typing that much stuff.

You're ignorant and moronic. People invent things. A "Race" never invented anything.

Go read a book. I recommend this one: "Black Inventors in the Age of Segregation" by Rayvon Fouché of Johns Hopkins Studies in the History of Technology .

Michael C. Harvey (also known as M.C. Harney or M.C. Harvey) was an African American inventor. In 1884 he improved a type of lantern.

Marie Van Brittan Brown

She applied for a patent with Albert Brown in 1966 for a closed circuit television security system. The patent was granted in 1969.

Dr. Mark Dean

An inventor and a computer scientist. He holds three of the original nine patents on the computer that all PCs are based upon. He led the team that developed the ISA bus, and he led the design team responsible for creating the first one-gigahertz computer processor chip.

FOR ONE that I KNOW of...

Have you ever heard the phrase,"Is that the Real McCoy?"

Back during the Railroad hayday when the US was building an intercontinental railway, There was a black man by the name of McCpy, that would have to re-grease wheel parts everytime the train stopped. He soon after, invented the automatic greasing machine. It was so POPULAR that people began making copies of the "Real McCoy." The copies were INFERIOR remakes, and when people bought THEIR regreasing machine, they would ask,"Is that the Real McCoy?" before they purchased it.

you are not living in America or in the wrong environment. black people through record and unrecorded history has invented many things but some of them were not credit for their work. just go to your library you find millions of things invented by black people. even when your white fathers travled to aferica the birthplace for blacks, they stoled many ideas and invesions and renamed it to their name. just look at egypt the geat prymaids, the were the frist high rise buliding which would become blue print for tall buliding. it seams that you are still blinded by the stories of your white Igronce fathers. wake up
