Are there any White-Guatemalans?

The reason im asking is becuase the population of White Guatemalans in Guatemala is unknown and also im Guatemalan American and i dont really look indian, although at my school everyone think im Mexican (which im NOT, i would look like a White Mexican though) i do have a mild tan skin color but its very much lighter than most of the Mexicans at my school and a few of the Puerto Ricans, it doesnt look too brown, niether does my family or their other Guatemalan friends look indian we are all White looking people and a lil tallish NOT so much indian looking and NOT short as they are cuz when i see them indians they are pretty short? my father, aunts, uncles and all my cousins look like striaght up white people and are a lil taller? and when i see Guatemalan people here in the U.S. they all look indian or mestizo with darker skin and are much shorter, im much taller then they are and so is my family? they look nothing like my family and we looking nothing like them? No white looking ones but my family? when we take pictures, we always sometimes comment on how we look like white hispanic people?

So im also asking why is the population of White-Guatemalans unknown if most all my family members look white?

Real Guatemalans are not white. "White Guatemalans" are just immigrants, or their descendant, that fled from Europe.

Yes, there are many Guatemalans whose family came from Europe who are white. The majority however are going to be darker because they are at least part Mayan.



The reason most of the Guatemalans you see in the US are not white is because most of the lighter skinned Europeans are part of families that have wealth and no reason to leave Guatemala.

Anyone whose background is entirely European would be considered white. Yes. They would be white.



There must be SOME people who can trace their entire background to Spain or other European countries.



I know some Guatemalans, but they all look like they have at least a little bit of Maya in them.

i knew a half guatemalan guy who's mom did not look indian, she had white skin and white features and very pretty and she was from guatemala

In Guatemala 40% is native, 45% is mestizo and 15% is other (of wich 12-13% are whites, 1% black and 1-2% asians)

well me being light skinned mexican is because they are very indain looking people and very short and ugly looking
