Then why is it that Xenophon described the Ancient Greek soldiers as being tanned compared to the whiter-skinned Persians? And why did the Romans ridicule Barbarians for being pale, sickly and blond? Olive Skin has been in Europe since forever and "Arabs" had nothing to do with it, Arabs have left as big of a legacy on Southern Europe as Blacks have done to Germany, hardly anything.

Persians aren't Arabs. Olive Skin is just a yellowish hue in Caucasian people with light (white) skin. It was common in ancient people living near the Mediterranean coast but due to migration you'll find it in all Caucasian populations. Arabs however, true Arabs from the peninsula barely every have light olive skin like some Europeans and Near Easterners do. They generally have brown skin comparable to some East Indians, well the ancients at least, now a days you'll find even pale people among the bedouins.

The world is making in a very complicated way , and especially humans.most of europeans belong to these haplogroups : r1b , I and r1a.both r1a & r1b came from Eurasia through the indo-european expansion (black sea , central asia and anatolia). I is a very common haplogroup among germanic people..which closely related brother is J , ironically , J is found at 60% among arabs..which makes swedish people closer to syrians than to french or irish people.

I think you're right. Also some whites(In America) have olive skin because of Native America blood. I am mixed with German, Mexican, English, and Native American. I consider myself white but my skin is olivish.
