Lets see...hate crimes against gays and forced conversion to another religion are acceptable in Middle Eastern/Islamic countries.

Communism is, or was, acceptable in Russia and China but is abhorred here.

Gay/homosexual relationships are more tolerated and accepted in some European countries but barely tolerated in the US special thanks to the bible belt. Gays have civil rights here, but are frowned upon and hated in the US regardless what others say.

Eye contact is a social norm and considered proper here while its considered rude in many Asian countries.

It is considered an insult to tip a cab driver in Japan while in the US it is a common courtesy.

In some African countries, women can walk around without a shirt or bare-breasted while its illegal in the US (at least openly walking around without a top). In the case of men, in some of those tribes men are naked or barely clothed while in the US it would be illegal (to be nude in the open) or barely legal (to be barely clothed).

Religious persecution is illegal in the USA (at least physical, though Christian and atheist propaganda against one another and everyone elses in abound here) while in Middle Eastern countries, India, China, and Israel certain religions are persecuted and frowned upon.

In the US, a woman can listen to music and attend school while in a Middle Eastern/Islamic country she is prohibited from recieving an education, cannot listen to music, and is nothing more than an object. In the US a woman can show her hair and wear what she wants whereas in the Middle East she must cover all but her hands and face (in some cases she can't even show her face).

In the Middle East a woman who is raped is considered a criminal and put to death or jailed while in the US a female rape victim can seek justice and the rapist is the perpetrator.

Well, since I'm a European, I can only talk about Europe (and the U.S) and not about China or Pakistan or Africa. Note, that with "other countries" it really depends on WHAT countries you are talking of!!

Here some examples:

- In the U.S. you can drive a hummer, which would not be acceptable to do in most of Europe. (well, you wouldn't get punished, but people would certainly dislike it, because of the huge amount of CO2 it produces.)

- In U.S.-Highschools, many students have to pray every morning. Or they have to say the "pledge of allegiance". They can actually be forced to do so. Both wouldn't be possible in Europe (especially the praying though).

- In the U.S. it's much more acceptable to be very overweight (so much, that you can barely walk, for example). In Europe, this is less acceptable and you constantly get stared at.

vise-versa:

- It's perfectly acceptable to talk about sex in school or other public facilities in Europe, whereas in America, you aren't meant to do so.

- In Europe, it's much more acceptable to be an atheist, than in the U.S.

- It's much more acceptable in Europe to smoke weed, than it is in the U.S. Because, even though it is illegal in most of Europe's countries as well, the "common" people usually don't care and are quite liberal about it.

- Death penalty is not only illegal in all of western Europe's countries, but it is absolutely not acceptable either.

Gosh, we are the two so intertwined, how would desire to that ever happen? Wrestling is a aggressive activity. What happens in activity events has no longer something to do with worldwide family. for sure, if any usa attacked yet another there would be repercussions. in my opinion, I fee the forged suggestion and help gained from 2 Canadians that i understand.

The only one I can think of immediately is wearing shoes in the house. (Unacceptable in Japan)

And after thinking a little...

Giving someone a clock or a watch as a gift is a bad move in China.

In Saudi Arabia, it's unacceptable for a woman to be seen in public without a headscarf.
