I look at differences sources...and there is a major discrepancy: On some sources...It's like the highest good! and some others....the Worst evil!

What exactly is it?? I was raised to believe it's satanic but a lot of online sources label it as a very good organization....Now I am just confused!

But I think that it may be more evil, why else would it be so hidden...?

It is not evil, but it is claimed to be by some organizations who have their own agendas.

Some Christians say it is evil, but they might say that anybody who doesn't belong to their church is evil or lost. So their opinion is flawed right from the start. Freemasonry does not encourage that kind of separateness, quite the opposite.

We should be wary of those people who claim that others are satanic or evil. They might be saying more about themselves than they think.

Freemasonry is not hidden any more than the rites of some churches are hidden.

Although it's a male thing, that's not necessarily evil.

People can apply to become a mason, it's not a secret invitation.

I would be more wary of a Skull&Bones member than a mason because that was set up as an elitist self-serving group. Freemasonry has never been self-serving in such a way.

Is the republican party evil? how about the Democrats? What about the Jewish faith, or the Baptists, are they evil? Is Major League Baseball an evil institution, or the NBA?

It is easy to find people that could argue that any of the above organizations are "evil" for any number of reasons. It all depends on who you ask and what their personal motives and beliefs are.

Freemasonry is a fraternity, one in which members dedicate themselves to being better men by adhering to moral virtue and personal responsibility. One way of expressing this is through civic service and charity.

Pop-culture has told you that Masonry is "hidden", "shadowy" and so on. But you can find a Masonic Lodge, clearly marked in nearly every city, and there is no shortage of actual Freemasons who are willing to discuss and answer questions about Masonry.

Freemasonry is not satanic, nor is it religious in any way. As a matter of ensuring members have a moral compass, the rule was made that all Masons must be men of faith, but each Mason is free to worship the Lord by nearly whatever specific faith he chooses. Atheists, satanists, and tree and rock worshipers are specifically excluded from Masonic membership however.

Masonry is also not involved in any new world order conspiracy. Aside from the basic fact that Masonry respects individual rights and personal liberty and detests tyranny, it is not a political organization either. Members are left-wing, right-wing, middle of the road, and everything in-between, not exactly an efficient foundation for world domination having everyone with different social and political views now is it?

Masonic charities are the world's most generous, providing millions of dollars towards hospices, abused women and children shelters, homeless shelters, organ and blood banks, learning disability centers, and most notable, St. Jude's Children's hospitals and Shriner's Children's Hospitals. Most Masonic Lodges actually operate with year-end balances of zero dollars due to this generosity. Again, not an efficient formula for evil. Unless you believe the armies of world domination is to be made up of little bald-headed children in wheelchairs.

TV shows love to film the handful of old Masonic Lodges with the marble floors and ornate woodwork, giving the fraternity the air of opulence and wealth. Failing however though to show you the attic that is condemned due to termite damage, the leaking sewer line in the basement, the chairs with broken legs, or that the members never take their coats off because the heater broke down 9 years ago. They also neglect to show the other 99% of Lodges that are quite modest, or mention that the vast majority of Masons are working class people in your very community. Enough money passes through a typical Masonic Lodge to fix such things or upgrade the Lodge substantially. But that money goes instead to the community first.

Typically, those that believe Freemasonry is evil have no knowledge of the Fraternity ... though they may drive past a Shriners Children's Hospital every day, or may be a citizen of the United States (a country founded on Masonic principles & tenets), or they may work at a food bank supported by Masons, or they may eat at the Midnight Mission, or they may have children who get scholarships from Masonic charities to go to college.

As far as Freemasonry being hidden, I'd have to say that you need to dilate your eyes; Freemasonry doesn't hide. We have hospitals, language centers, vision centers, hearing centers, huge old buildings clearly marked with the square and compasses, websites, we advertise in newspapers, we post our calendars on our doors for all to see, we wear little lapel pins and rings that note our affiliation with the fraternity, and so on. The only way we'd be hidden is if you were blind...and we'd probably be the vision center you'd go to, and be the ones helping you with seeing eye dogs, glasses, canes, etc.

NOT. It's a charitable fraternity. There are sources on both sides that are equally compelling and sound authoritative. The fact is, however, it is NOT evil. No Devil worship, no harassment of members or the general public. Freemasons are compelled to obey the law of the land and to submit to legal authority. It's part of the obligations that are sworn to in the name of GOD.

Anyone who tells you differently has an anti masonic agenda.

Be careful about the sources that you use. Youtube, is not reliable, and neither is Wikipedia, as both are contribution based entities

freemasonry is a fraternity. it is neither the highest good nor the worst evil. they do provide more charity than any other group on the planet.

it is not satanic, if you worship satan you cannot be a freemasonry - nor would you want to be one either.

it is not hidden, you can read all of the rituals in books you can find online and in bookstores...

ignore any fool who talks about "new world order", "higher levels", "luciferian", "control", etc.... they are all worthless lies told by ignorant people and those looking to make money off those ignorant fools

Freemasonry is a criminal organization. Only recently have I heard it called a "Fraternity." I always heard it called a mob, cartel, cabal, and other derogatory names. The system has been totally corrupted by this organization, (and this includes the court system). The constitution is null and void. Anyone who reports the truth about these organizations or about the crimes that their members commit, will be sued for slander. The corrupt court system is protecting these criminals by silencing their critics. This is what I'm experiencing now. These people are a very serious threat to your children.

It started off as a fraternity, which many of the fore-ffathers of this country belonged to. George Washington, Jefferson, and Franklin. Throughout history we had many leaders and other influential presidents involved. The origins of the Free-masons stem from Scotland, which by this time had United with Britain through James the VI of Scotland becoming the first James I of England, thus beginning the house of the Stuarts. Many of the Fore-fathers of this country were British or first generation Americans. I don't think they realized the many of their ideals would set the stage of the one-world order. Its based on perception and Perspective weather ther free masons were evil or not.

It is a brotherhood. Filled with corruption, secrets, and lies.

Their main focus is to get us to New World Order. Living under one ruler "King" throughout the whole world. People who rebel will be severely tortured. 2012.. its coming soon my friend, sooner than we think. Its been active for hundreds and hundreds of years. Most of the worlds highest powers are part of this brotherhood. They are everywhere. Subliminal messages proving this are everywhere.. just youtube it...
