I see nothing positive being a human being anymore....we are constantly in this stupid rat race...I can predict my future now: I have a loving boyfriend so prob we get married, Im going to stay in Australia, have kids, he goes to work, I take care of them, we get old together or get a divorce and start the cycle over again, then we die...

I have bipolar so life is always pretty bleak to me....can someone cheer me up?

I just feel the bad times are more severe than the good times. Even a vacation at the beautiful malidives I cant see the good side: its expensive, lucky with the weather, nice fish and some good food, and that's it....

IF you tell me to get a break or some smart ass answer, I will report you, I need a very good convincing answer paleeze

My father was bipolar, so I have some insight into your feelings. There are times when it seems that way, Jessica, and I'm not here to tell you otherwise. I've spent most of my life with clinical depression, so I know how deep that hole is and how hard it is sometimes to get back out of it.

Medication was the ONLY thing that helped my Dad. I don't know if you're on meds, but it might be something to consider if you are not. If you are already on meds, perhaps you need a stronger dose or even another brand of meds.

In any case, continue to surround yourself with things that make you happy and feel special. You have a great BF and you're planning a great life -- be patient with yourself and your moods.

You must find a reason to your life and existence.

For me is enjoying every single second of it.

Since the moment I get up from bed in the morning, even when I am sick, I am happy about it. I brush my teeth with intention, I get a fresh shower in the morning with delight, enjoying every single drop of that magic liquid in my body. I always put on a nice cologne, I like to smell nice. I savor my breakfast with so much pleasure, almost as if it were my first or my last. And no matter what I am having, even if the bread is stale. When I am thirsty there is nothing for me like a glass of cold water. It's quite delightful. I have to do things that I do not like that much, but it is a good discipline and a way to appreciate to enjoy more when you get the chance to do the things you like. I never get anything for granted, because I know that many people would love to have what I have, and I also know that one day I might not have it either. So you see, life is a cycle as you very well say, but it is your attitude, your view of the scenery what changes the scenery. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", haven't you heard that? It is very true. You sound as person that is bored and hasn't lack the most important things in life. Good for you, you have been blessed, do not take it for granted. Perhaps you need your medication to help you see things right, but did you know that our mind is the most powerful of all the medications in the world? Be your friend. You can if you want.

My very best wishes to you! Jose.

So what do you want to be? A four legged creature. As if there life is better. They eat. Sleep. And repeat the cycle. Tho I do love animals you shouldn't hate what you are. You can't change it. If you think your future is going to be so bland why don't you do something to change it? You got one life make the best it not complaining about what it should be. Cuz babe this is all you got.
