that judging on the basis of prison population, a substantial number (about 35%) of black criminals in the UK are not British citizens but FOREIGN NATIONALS!
Source:
Chapter 9, tables 9.1 - 9.4, of Home Office publication "Statistics on Race and the Criminal Justice System 2004

My point is that when the newspapers are reporting the large prison populations of blacks they are conveniently ommitting that most are not even British. It is not so nice for all Black people to be lumped together. That would be much like saying that white people commit a lot of crime if you take into account any White-Italian, Spanish, Irish, Russian or whatever nationality who happens to be imprisoned in a UK prison, as being representative of the crime rates of British white people...

The sad thing is that most people I know will still churn out the same Black people in prisons rhetoric without going away to research the stats. I admit that there is Black on Black crime. but there is white on

Why does it matter? I'm sure there are also many foreign white criminals in our overcrowded prisons. If they are foreign I personally believe they should be deported to serve their sentence in their own country at their taxpayers expense. I think we have become so used to Political Correctness that the media wouldn't touch this potential 'hot potato' anyway. I don't think all black people are criminals, there are criminals of every race and creed. I do however resent concessions made for muslim prisoners.

Hmmm I agree with u about your actual point but i have 1 problem with what u said. I live in the UK also, Birmingham to be exact which is a multi ethnic area, and I'd still say that the UK is a White country. Ethnic Minorites make up 8% of the population so I'd still consider the UK to be a White country like Poland and Hungary etc.

I understand what you are saying . But really you cannot blame the people.

You are in a white country , you have lived there happily in piece for many years , by the sounds of it .

I have lived as a white person in many Asian countries.

I see and feel the same as you . I'm white doesn't matter if Russian American Australian just all thrown i the same bucket under the same name.

I'm white and that's as far as it goes.

We cant change the world to suit us , so we just have to make the most of what we have.

And I think in all honesty , the UK is one of the most accepting countries in the world.
