What new piece of information did you learn on the internet today?

I just learned how x-rays are produced. I learned some uses for x-rays. I learned from yahoo news that Farm jobs are one of the most hazardous least paid jobs. I learned that Dimitri Mendeleev discovered of periodicity by looking at a deck of cards. I learned that BaPt(CN)6 was a scintillation screen that was used to detect x-rays. It glows a green color. I know it's a lot of jargon/geeky stuff but that's what I'm into. But the question stands:

I learned the Dimitri Mendeleev thing in my Chem. class from this British documentary talking about the Periodic table haha =D I also learned the 2nd X ray fact you have on here in chem. class!! haha...our teacher never taught us..and he just made us watch videos to learn lol.



Well I was on Y!A and a user asked what language a song was and posted a youtube link and there was this adorable looking amphibian that I have never seen before. So I looked it up.

I learned that an Axolotl is near extinction due to urbanization in Mexico City and the waters getting polluted. And the Pokemon Wooper was inspired by these cute creatures. haha :D



I normally look up history related things on the Internet so this kind of different for me =]
