Who did you vote for president and how did you vote on Prop 8?

I voted for McCain. If I lived in California, I would have voted NO on Prop 8. If you don't live in California, tell me how you would've voted on Prop 8 in addition to who you voted for president.

i voted for nader and no on 8. (i don't like being a hypocrite).

i couldn't vote for someone who will not back gay marriage while voting for gay marriage. civil unions are not the same thing. there are plenty of reasons why i could not vote for obama but regarding gay rights, marriage was a deal breaker.

ROFL!! The "Homosexual Mafia"??? That's a new one 8 - P.

I voted for Obama, Why? I'll tell you. Personally I thought that both men were great candidates and that they both love this country but I thought that Obama was better prepared, he answer the debate questions very well, and much better than McCain. Not to mention McCain just looked lost during the debates, at times he seemed to have gone senile (very much like Bush has been the last 5 years). Let's not forget Loony Bin Palin, she was like 4 beers short of a 12-pack. She never answered any question with any answer short of an off-topic ramble. When is came ,down to it though, really I just shared his point of view more, nothing too special.

As for Prop 8, I think that Homosexuals would be "Violating the Sanctity of Marriage" is just a stupid sloagan for supporting Prop 8. Whenever you tell someone that they can not do something because of a belief or way of life it is discrimination; any way you look at it that's what it is. As long as you do not hurt any one, physically, or emotionally, (yes, I'll even say financially in a way, say like stealing) you can do anything you want. I mean telling someone that they can't do something because you don't support it is just plain wrong.

Also, what is up with people saying "if you support gay marriage then you are an in the closet homosexual"?? How stupid. I'm not gay, not even close, to tell you the truth, just the thought of two guys kissing makes me nauseous but I know how I would feel if someone told me that I could not marry someone I loved because they or I beleived a certain way. I tell you one thing though; try it and I'd show you what 7 years of kickboxing and three years of MMA can do to support me.

Prop 8 should never have been allowed to make it on the ballot and no other state should have been allowed to pass a law denying the right for homosexuals to marry, it's just not ethical.

I voted for McCain. I'd probably have voted for (if that means "no" to gay marriage) if I lived there, but I'm not sure since I don't see why they can't get married since it wouldn't affect me at all.

I wrote in Chuck Baldwin, Constitution Party candidate, a true American who fights the good fight against leftist liberalism, illegal immigrants, and Zionism.

I happily voted YES for Prop 8, not because I care for the sanctity of marriage but to prevent the homosexual mafia from forcing their sick agenda upon our children.
