how come it's alright for black people to insult whites but when it's the other way around it's cruel?

in my class, i would always hear the black people joking with each other about white people, and making fun of them and even did it upfront to a few white girls too and the african americans thought it was so funny, and once the white girls did it to them they got extremely offended! and they were being such Hippocrates. I noticed that this happens around in a lot of other places, too... just callling someone black would make them flinch.
Why is it ok for SOME black people (i'm not saying all you do) to insult white people but when it's the other way around, sh*t get's real?
i mean i understand they were slaves in the past so they can be sensitive about insults now, but come on, it's not like every single white person was against them and it was a long time ago, white people today shouldn't be blamed for it really.

It's not OK but also depends on the joke. What did he say to the white girls and what did the white girl say to the black guys? If she call him the n-word than that's not cool. +

It's kind of funny now that you mention it. Some white kids will cuss out and act a fool to their parents, which is very disrespectful and insulting, and then whine about black kids not taking any insults from white kids. Sounds like someone is upset because the black kids have them in check better than their parents do. The whole thing is probably over exaggerated like everything else in OCG. When are white people going to learn that slavery and racism are two different issues. Why do white people keep saying get over slavery when they bring it up every chance they get. Now that's hypocrisy at it's finest.

"in my class, i would always hear ....." What kind of school is that where kids can just hold discussions during class? Everybody should be paying attention to the teacher. No one should be just talking or eavesdropping. Believe me, most black people hardly spend that much time talking about white people. Whites are not a major concern or interest.

Many black people feel as if they are "untouchable" in this manner, this stems from years of political correctness and the media walking on eggshells about black issues. You toss these things together, mixed in a few liberals, and top it off with black people knowing they can get away with it and you have a delicious one sided cake.

Why don't you ask the people who did it since you claim you actually saw them in person???

Instead of posting here like it's the ENTIRE community's fault then issuing the lame disclaimer that you DON'T think we all do it?

it's not okay to insult anyone. most of these african americans that are acting this way, probably just feel that it is okay for them to act like this because of things that have happened in the past (like slavery)

It's not alright. I dont know why whites never stand up for themselves and of course sh*t will get real because blacks dont tolerate too much.

Who says it's ok? People of all races are idiots and jerks.

And if you honestly believe that modern black folks are no longer negatively effected by racism, you are also an idiot and a jerk.

The COLOR of MONEY and how much you have is really matters, not Racial Color Lines and Issues.
