Are there any black nationalism groups active now? I'm a black 27year old male in college pursuing my MD. I feel there should be a group that can help me cope with the overwhelmingly white population at my school. We have a black collegians group but its filled with a bunch of ignorant hip-hop listening morons. I live in Los Angeles

I agree, a lot of people who listen to hip-hop are ignorant morons. Find some Rastas; that's probably the closest thing around to what you want nowadays.



Regardless, I hope you're able to treat your overwhelmingly white patient base equally well later on.

You're alright, there's nothing wrong with wanting to join a black group if you're black. Same thing as joining a political party: You choose the one that's the most like you.
