Do English guys think American girls are easy?

When I was in London, I got hit on way more than I did here in America. I wasn't sure whether to be flattered by the attention or whether guys just thought I might be easy to pick up since I'm American.

Any insight? I love British guys, I was just a bit creeped out by a few of them.

I'm English and it's not that English people think Americans are especially easy. To be honest, English girls are just as easy as Americans.



It is mostly to do with what the guy above (jigga) said. He slightly exaggerated how English men are but yeah, they'll try their luck with anyone. The idea of an English gent is outdated, if it ever existed at all.

I'm not that sure about British guys, but I also realize whenever I travel to Brazil the guys there hit on me like crazy. But here in America I rarely ever get hit on by guys. I know its because brazilian men are more blunt and openly flirtatious with girls. So maybe that's the same with British men as well.

prohibition is the big factor here. ALL brits drink, get wasted, have casual sex. IMO US culture is more extreme, either you are part opf True Love Waits, or you're a dirty ho who gets pregnant at 12. Brits are not scared of sex, or alcohol. You can be a well rounded person and still enjoy vices. So, I would say they were hoping you two are of the Girls Gone Wild school, not the Twilight abstaining crew.

the problem isn't you. the problem is british guys. i've lived overseas and known a lot of them. british guys are strictly about hitting the a**. all that english gentlemen sh** is a total myth. they're always in the clubs high on whatever or drunk and trying to get some a** before they go back to their wives in the morning.



aussies too for that matter, and sometimes scots. you're alright with the irish though, and the canadian. not alright necessarily, it's just that they're not so different from americans. but brits and aussies, it's like 99.7% chance the guy's an a**hole and just trying to get some.

lol! so true, i'm american and i went there recently with my fam. omg did i get hit on! i was shocked because its not like that in america but was flattered beause i too love british guys. what i also found funny was the amount of west indian and african guys who also hit on me, "*** ere beautiful american woman"! lol. i loved it though, i'd go back in a flash.

gack!! you stole my face!! erm - I was born in England but haven't heard anything like that. I just think that a lot of men anywhere like girls who seem 'exotic' - and yes, American would be exotic.

EVERYONE thinks American girls are easy. Sigh! =( I don't know...maybe it's all them crappy films they see, but we American girls don't have the best reputation. Of course, not everyone is dumb enough to judge on nationality, BUT.....

I think most girls are easy, it doesn't really matter what country they are from. If anything people are way more open about sex in Europe. I've traveled all over the world and I think I've met my fair share of sl uts in every country.

im afraid so...i kno a guy from UK, and he said that he had always thought you'd never find a girl over the age of 13 who wasnt a virgin.....i was shocked he thought this..but he said thats how american girls are portrayed in the UK....
