HEAR ME OUT BEFORE YOU START GOING OFF ON ME

I really think this because of how some black people have treated history.People have died,been beaten,hung,rap3d.......and some of us don't appreciate what they went through to get us freedom.Why are we killing each other over colors?I'd rather listen to some like Samir Shabazz than be in crips and bloods.The new black panthers may not be the best role models but hell at least they are united.

Another problem i have is that "some" of us depend on basketball too much.I hope one day i can influence kids that basketball isn't the only thing we can do.

Another thing i can't listen to any genre outside of rap without be talked about.I could be listening to Bad Brains or Jimi Hendrix or Living Colour and they will still talk about me.I could be listening to a rapper like Charles Hamilton or Mos Def and me are like WTF.We went from Blues,Rock,Jazz,Funk,Soul,etc to just Rap and r&b.....it really kills me.I love finding out about new types of music but i stay away from music like Gucci mane and Waka Flocka Flame.

I live in alabama(i don't know how it works everywhere else) but if a white person says anything about black people they start a fit and try to jump on the student.They a bigger fuss than a black man walking in during a KKK Meeting.But they think it's ok for them to talk about white people.I'm not taking white peoples side but i think it's wrong.Do hate the people who hate black people?No because their parents taught them to hate black people.

Also the clothes(yeah you know where this is going)The baggy pants make no since i under stand that black men tend to have bigger butts than white men but your embarrassing the black people who dress like have a brain and if you are gonna wear skinny jeans then throw away the big boxers and pull your pants up.The only reason why i wear baggy pants is because of my weight.I swear if i was still skinny i would pull my pants up.Trust me every single minute is like hell to me wishing i could pull my pants up without them being too small.But it's not like im like the ones that have their pants down to their knees.And for the women you should stop dressing like hookers.White people are the only ones that can pull off the daisy dukes(unless your a skinny black girl).No one wants to see your fat legs.

Also i forgot one thing last year my school had a "hip hop day" for spirit week or what ever and i was really offended by that.Because not all MCs dress like that.All the crackers(yeah i said it) had put on their gold chain,baggy shirt,baggy pants,and Hat and think their Mcs.Why didn't they just call it ghetto day?or even ignorant as s reggin day because that's what it seems like to me.Trust me this year(which is my last year in school) if they have "hip hop day" i will speak up and this day will be banned from that school.

Hey man, people have always done stupid silly things. Its part of being human. Maybe its just a phase that our society will grow out of. Just a few hundred years ago we whites were trotting around in spandex and wigs. We were painting ourselves blue in england making drums while africans were ruling civilizations and inventing sciences. Hell, but don't want slavery. Sure, nothing has altogether improved that much, but this way some can rise to the top. We have jazz and harlem now. Imagine if it was still slavery. No one could prove themselves. Let the ball roll.
