Why do SOME blacks get mad/upset when they find out that Dolly Parton wrote I Will Always Love You?

First of all, this will be my last question on this. I know that not all blacks get mad and upset over this, but why do some, when they find a white woman, Dolly Parton, wrote this song?

Once, when I told this black girl, she got very upset and mad. So, I know not all blacks do, but some do. Why?

I don't know but Whitney Houston did not sing it better. I remember her saying in an interview that it was "her" song and she bragged she sang it better than Dolly. Dolly's version is original and the better and Dolly didn't have cut other people down to be named the best either.
