I am a dark skinned lack carribean woman living in the uk and most of the males are now going for white women or light skinned black women of dual heritage (usually black-carribean and white). Although I am not against bi-racial relationships as some members of my friends and family are of dual heritage, I feel that with young black men in the media going for platinum blonde women are putting out a message to this generation of black men that 'White is Right'. i want to know if there is still hope for black dark skinned women.
Also why do black men proudly have relationships outside their race it is deemed acceptable, but if a black woman has relationships with men of other races black men hurl insults and say she has rejected her culture??
