it should be like Dubai in Africa by now?

a couple of years ago there was this chubby american guy who said he could feed the whole of Africa for far less than they donate, he made a budget to increment the usage of their lands and crops so they could all eat, he said he could do that ALL over Africa for 1 million... sooo?

i guess they didn't need him,

so.. why is there comic relieve happening again, if i had never been to Africa i would be more pron to believe that they do get the money.

It's all LIES...and you just pointed out a very key point that

I have quoted many times and that is CHINA. The "West" has (allegdly)

been 'helping' Africa for so many years with our "aid" propagadana yet

Africa has nothing to show for it, so my question is this...is it really a

coincidence that since the China/Africa partnership has taken place that

suddenly we have seen a rapid growth in African economies in the last4/5

years?. 11 out of the worlds fastest growing economies are AFRICAN, and

this rapid growth has had a lot to do with the BUISNESS partnership with China,

keyword being BUISNESS not "aid" because China does not offer Africa aid.

People fail to comprhend or fathom that "aid" is not as Black and White (quite

literally) as it may seem. There are many politics involved in aid that systmatically

stunts Africa's growth whilst the World Bank lurks in the shadows and keeps Africa

in debt...and believe me, the Western Elite knows this...because that is the fuel to

their gluttony on steroids over-grossed economies. That is why things like comic

relief ablosutley sicken me to the core, that is also why spoken words like the liberal

propaganda of "free world", "everyone is equal", "liberation" etc also sicken me...

because they are mere codewords to steer people from the truth.

Why do the UN & World Bank support giving monetary aid to poor countries?

when in reality the countries who constitute the members of the UN (America etc)

could care less about the citizens of those poor countries.

the U.S. aid budget to Africa is about 1% of it's overall GDP, and 90% of the

time it never actually goes to the poor of the countries it sends to, it goes to

politicians who support pro-America stances...the term for this capatalist imperial

art-form is called "neocolonialism". Many African politicans are under the thumb to

their Western Superiors.. People like Mummar Gaddafi and Patrice Luamba have

exposed this truth many times.

The UN & the World Bank know that generally does not help poor countries.

The marshall plan that allowed Europe to rebuild after WWII only gave countries

like the UK, Germany, etc a small amount of aid so that it constituted only a

small fraction of the overall effort those countries were using to build themselves up.

Primarily those countries relied on exports & investment.

Africa is in a situation where aid continues to drag it deeper into debt, makes

it more dependent on Western countries, kills entrepreurship, and allows politicians

to continue to live exorbitant life styles at the expense of their people

The U.S, Britain, France, and many more know this, but they have an invested

interest in keeping 3rd world nations poor, for political & economic reasons.

It is a neccissity.

It is a business, i doubt they get the entirety of the monetary funds that are donated, especially to just build a few wells here and there. With the amount of money they get, they could build dams, lakes, rivers, which would bring rain that would result in alot of crops, which seems to be the main problem in many of these places that people are starving, these people know how to fend for themselves, they just need the opportunity, not handouts, but by giving them handouts, they make them dependant , and as long as they are dependant on charity organizations, the organisations will keep asking for money ,and i am pretty sure they keep alot of it.

they spend the revenue on helping both the UK and Africa, so how much of each pound really gets spent in africa and how much in the UK which will obviously buy less and is needed far less.

Is it that the videos showing africa are going to encourage donations more and so that's why they do it. Maybe the majority is spent on the UK which is why comic relief has such backing by the UK government (BBC) because it will be benefiting the UK if more money is spent here. And why have none of the videos I saw shown what the money has actually been spent on from the hundreds of millions of pounds from last year and the years before and how it has actually benefited people and 'saved lives'.

For me in my opinion I actual have some matters with the full comedian alleviation theory. actual prevention is greater suitable that therapy, why shop sending money to a corrupt us of a which could no longer supply 2 hoots approximately that's human beings, that would extremely shop the money, no longer spend it on that's infrastructure or that's human beings, why is comedian alleviation no longer asking "why have not you taken care of out your corrupt, broken government" the different factor is this. in case you enhance the life expectancy of those damaging human beings, you via definition will enhance the inhabitants as greater human beings could have greater babies, exponentially turning out to be the inhabitants, how the hell are we going to proceed feeding and watering a great form of those, we are letting human beings stay that nature must be killing off by way of starvation and illness, we are on a hiding to no longer something and can't proceed in this direction, there merely isn't the substances to administration, Professor Stephen Hawking grow to be afraid the AI could takeover the international, we are to bloody stupid, nicely have killed ourselves long before that.

easy answer for you is no it never gets to african people lots of the money is used to pay wages at UK levels, these so called charity workers nearly all want to be paid ,so administration and wages account for most of the donations.

as much as I dislike saying this, the donations given to religious groups do far more good and get to the right peoples far better than will happen with comic Relief

Applications

A bottle of olive oil used in food

Cosmetics

Oils are applied to hair to give it a lustrous look, to prevent tangles and roughness and to stabilize the hair to promote growth.[8][9] See Hair conditioner.

Religion

Oils are commonly used in ritual anointments. As a particular example, holy anointing oil has been an important ritual liquid for Judaism and Christianity.

Painting

Color pigments are easily suspended in oil, making it suitable as a supporting medium for paints. The oldest known extant oil paintings date from 650 AD.[10]

Heat transfer

Oils are used as coolants in oil cooling, for instance in electric transformers. Oils are also used to enhance heating in other applications, such as cooking (especially in frying).

Lubrication

Oils are commonly used as lubricants. Mineral oils are more commonly used as machine lubricants than biological oils are. Whale oil is preferred for lubricating clocks, because it does not evaporate, leaving dust, although its use was banned in 1980.[11] As no suitable substitute is available, whale oil is still used in space (in small quantities).[12]

wikipedia uses for oil

Fuel

Some oils burn in liquid or aerosol form, generating light, and heat which can be used directly or converted into other forms of energy such as electricity or mechanical work. To obtain many fuel oils, crude oil is pumped from the ground and is shipped via oil tanker to an oil refinery. There, it is converted from crude oil to diesel fuel (petrodiesel), ethane (and other short-chain alkanes), fuel oils (heaviest of commercial fuels, used in ships/furnaces), gasoline (petrol), jet fuel, kerosene, benzene (historically), and liquefied petroleum gas. A 42 gallon barrel (U.S.) of crude oil produces approximately 10 gallons of diesel, 4 gallons of jet fuel, 19 gallons of gasoline, 7 gallons of other products, 3 gallons split between heavy fuel oil and liquified petroleum gases,[13] and 2 gallons of heating oil. The total production of a barrel of crude into various products results in an increase to 45 gallons.[13] Not all oils used as fuels are mineral oils, see biodiesel and vegetable oil fuel.

In the 18th and 19th centuries, whale oil was commonly used for lamps, which was replaced with natural gas and then electricity.[14]

Chemical feedstock

Crude oil can be refined into a wide variety of component hydrocarbons. Petrochemicals are the refined components of crude oil and the chemical products made from them. They are used as detergents, fertilizers, medicines, paints, plastics, synthetic fibers, and synthetic rubber.

Organic oils are another important chemical feedstock, especially in green chemistry.
