Tell them you understand that "true" Guatemalans are 8 foot tall, 2 percent body fat, and can bend steel across their earlobe. When they give you a odd look, tell them you've been sick, but should morph back into your true form any day now. Make them admit their ignorance.

I thought all Guatemalans were suppose to have dark skin (not black ppl dark. like Cuban dark.), wide noses, & they were really, really short. All I heard was the stereotypes my Mexican friends told me (I'm Dominican). Anyway, I met a Guatemalan guy & he is like 5'11" with a slender nose & light skin. His brother is only a few inches shorter than him & he is really light too. I don't know for sure if this is true, but in my opinion Guatemalans look like Mexicans.

Most are mestizo or Spanish, although I recall looking at a map of Mexico's different areas that contained some black DNA, and if I recall correctly, southern Mexico had a little bit, so that can also be true for Guatemala.
