Why are alot of Black men rude to Dark skinned Black women when...?

They are usually Dark-skinned themselves? Every Black guy I have ever heard to say things like, "I only like light skinned, white, and Hispanic women" have always been dark skinned. For instance, I've heard alot of my friends say things like, "Dark skinned women have bad features and their too aggressive." The ones who say these things must not realize that they also have the same features and a not so great personality, so why do they talk so badly about dark skinned women when they are also dark skinned? Dark skinned women are Beautiful and I would never be seen with a light-skinned Black woman or any other race of women.

Sadly, I have to say that they probably feel like they're better than us. I've had random black men (dark skinned black men) say and do some of the rudest things to me. I remember one time this dark skinned black guy just pushed me into these bleachers at school. I didn't even know him, I never gave him dirty looks, and I never said anything about him. He just came up to me, even though I was no where close to him, and just shoved me into the bleachers. When I got back on my feet to see what was going on, he was giving me this real disgusted and angry look. I remember seeing him being very nice to this hispanic girl and he had a whole different attitude. I still don't know for sure if he did that because I was dark but I sincerely believe that this was the reason behind it. He gave me a real dirty, evil look again when I passed by him at school one day too. Right now, I can't really remember any other instances in the real world that directly affected me but I've seen other dark skinned girls get treated badly. Like, I knew this one dark chocolate girl (she was real pretty too) and this dark skinned black guy used to talk about how dark she was and put her down about her skin tone (even though he was dark himself). These are examples from online. But, a few days ago, I was online and this VERY dark skinnd black guy started going off on me and he was saying things like: The world hates dark skinned black women because you're too dark, your hair is nappy, your lips are too big, your nose is too wide. He was saying that everything on a dark skinned black woman was ugly but it was attractive on a black man. He said that dark skinned black women are masculine, we're rude, and a whole bunch of other things that I would expect to hear from a racist. He kept going on about how white, latina, light skinned and asian women were better than black women. The funny thing is that he said all of this RIGHT AFTER I said that I didn't care if society felt like black women weren't attractive. He could not help himself. He HAD to shove it in my face (even though I said that I could care less). Sometimes, I just can not understand some dark skinned black men. I'm glad you're not like this though.

I hear what you are saying. I do not think you are gonna find a good answer. You are correct in saying that every race has the same physical descriptions you just gave and Why people associate it with dark skinned people is beyond me. It is really up to you to make it stop. Well what I mean is let it stop bothering you. Some people may never change their thinking. There is no control over that but you can let it start with you by the way you show your family and maybe children how that we are all are created differently and that we should accept the people that are all around us no matter how different we are. We all have a common bond and that is that we all are human and have feelings and we should respect one another and appreciate everyones individual uniqueness.

They have a skin tone complex first of all. Secondly they are usually rude to a dark skin girl when there's an audience of a non dark skin girl. They may feel like they look masculine to the girl they are trying to impress by putting down someone so they use the closest dark skin girl to do so. Meanwhile, they are being rude, aggressive, and looking foolish!



Dark skin girls, don't let those dark skin guys get away with being rude to us, please say something intelligent back and shut it down!

Omg, I experienced this too day. My dark skin friend was arguing with this dark skin guy. The guy was like dark skin girls are dirty looking and their vagina looks nasty. Than a light skin guy came along and said that dark skin girls are the best. The dark skin guy was like you don't see dark skin b!7ches in videos. My friend said because dark skin women has class. The dark skin guy said dark skin girls make ugly babies. The light skin guy said the dark skin guy was a idiot.



My dark skin friend always have light skin guys wanting to go out with her but, the dark skin ones disses her, very confusing. A know a lot of dark skin guys that praise light skin woman but light skin guys that like dark skin woman but, at the same time it doesn't matter with a light skin guy.



It's crazy because I be seeing these light skin girls walking around, talking, and acting like they're the sh!7 when they have bald heads, no shape, and flat faces. They only do that because it's in their heads that if you're light, your pretty.



My dark skin friend has an even smooth skin tone and it glows. She's what you call a Nubian Goddess.



Personally, I think dark skin black men are ignorant when it comes down too stuff like this.

I noticed this too. A lot of darker black men (particularly the American ones) seem to prefer white or light skinned women. I think a lot of them have some sort of complex. I remember being about 13 and this very dark skinned black guy (someone my friend had tried to set me up with) telling me that he only likes light skinned girls. (You can see from my photo that I am brown skinned) Apparently I was too dark for his so called standards (and he was very dark himself at least 30 shades darker than me). You see this more often with the dark skinned black guys- not the African and Caribbean men though. Probably because they caught a lot of grief about their color and have internalized their self-hatred.

Agreed. 100%. It's like they are saying that they hate themselves. Dark Skin comes in so many tones and is so beautiful. I would describe myself as Milk Chocolate and well,all my life I was told oh, you're brown skin, I need a Yellow girl. I am beautiful. Being dark skinned myself I actually WANT my kids to look like me. Also, dating a light skinned black woman does not guarantee that your child will be light skinned or even caramel/medium toned.

i had guy friends (immature ones) who would tell my in my face that they would never date Black girls in an effort to make me feel bad/jealous. i tried not to let them get to me because I knew that's what they wanted, but I don't understand their motive for being so stupid and immature. They were like the same color as me, a little lighter. It's just ignorance. As for lil wayne and the rest of the stupid rappers, they're usually real dark, and or extremely ugly and or fat.
