Question:
welfare: this is a good idea?
other then stop giving welfare overall. All women who come in to get a welfare check should have to get a birth control shot. It would save us tons of money because we would not have women popping out babies for more money. If they want to have children they would have to get a job and get off of welfare.
good idea?
bad idea?

No. Cap benefits at two children (or three if they already have more than two when they FIRST apply). Then let them decide how to prevent future pregnancies. I don't believe in forcibly medicating people. That shot has some pretty nasty and dangerous side effects (especially when it's wearing off--I bled for a damn month AND it prevented me from breastfeeding my child). And the rules apply to EVERYONE regardless of race, religion or national origin!!!

welfare is a good idea for people who are in REAL NECESSITY

not for those lazy butts who just have a lot of kids to claim money

I mean birth control shots or any other birth control should be a requirement

for women in welfare cause if you have no money to raise your kid

why u should bring another one.

it doesn't make sense

Great thought, NEVER happen. It is true that our definition of family has been changed in tjis country, but pairing up welfare mothers is not the answer. The answer is strict time limits on benefits, and more social programs to get these people up and working like the rest of us. I know people here in my state of NY that have been on welfare all of their lives. Recieving one type or another. That is just wrong. But when I someone loses their job for whatever reason, you can't get help, you have to exhaust your unemployment first. The system is screwed up. I also know women who have five or six kids just they can stay on welfare because it's cheaper than paying for the daycare for all five or six kids. When you are single and poor don't get a roomate GET A JOB!

most people who are on welfare only stay on for less than a year. And forcing people to take birth control is facist.

Yes. Because people pop out babies just because they get paid more and they never even have to think of how hard and expensive it is to raise a child because taxpayers are doing it for them.
