Light skin Vs. Dark Skin?

I'm Salvadoran and Black and i Understand In Many Different Cultures and Communities,There Are Skin Color issues,With Lighter Skin Being Considered "beautiful" or Better.


How is Light Skin And Dark Skin Determined?Like,For Blacks,Who Would You Consider Light Skin And Who Would You Consider Dark Skin?
And For Asians,Who Woud You Consider Dark Skin,Who Would You Consider Light?

Beauty Is In The Eyes Of The Beholder, Usually Your Culture Will Play A Part In Your Opinion Of What Is Beautiful, But I Find Beauty In All Races Both Light And Dark Skin. Some Creatures Are Just Plain Gorgeous No Matter What Color.

Well one way black people have done it is the paper bag test. You take a plain tan paper bag and hold it next to the skin, i f u r lighter then u are light skinned, darker then you r darkskinned. I would fail the test and am glad so but most of my family would pass.

I think it depends on the person's race/ethnicity and what the "median" color of the ethnicity is.



For example, I would consider Gabrielle Union dark skinned, but most African Americans might consider her dark skinned, because on average African Americans are of darker complexion.

This gets on my nerves.My ex was more dark skinned than some africans he was as darked skinned as some aboriginals which by the way some are as dark skinned as some africans.He is burmese decent >our child is a beautiful color.

dark skinned white: slightly brown color

light skinned white: snow color



dark skinned asian:peanut butter colored
