Do British guys find American girls appealing?

I think all of you guys over in the U.K. are just oh so sexy! Your accents make me melt!!!

I'm a british guy ! and i do not like American girls but maby im just putting that under sterotyping !



When guys in the UK think of an American girl its usaully American celebrities, any other ordinary girl all we can picture is a dumb blonde girl chewing gum with a teenage attidude.



However i know this is not true and i don't understand the whole.. OMG ENGLISH GUYS ACCENTS .. thing. personally i can not stand the American accent no offence but i find it slow and long and dumb.



and repetative for example.. OHHH MYYY GAWWWWWWWRD < thats all i ever hear.





I think American women like british guys because there is an image of us being well a gentlemen with a POSH accent .. no XD im sorry maby 70 years ago but certainly not now, and as for the comment about about cussing at dinner ? i disagree ! i do not cuss at my family at dinner !

there are a few gentlemens here most guys here are what we say BLOAKISH.. very manly ! very loud loves the PUB and a good rowl ! typical geaser ! wacthing the footy playing on the xbox 360 XD i don't no maby thats just where im from thats all i see.



Ive tried being a nice guy as a '' gentlemen'' opened doors for people etc no body says anything and i end up holding the door open for the entire public =[ .... no 1 wears a tophat get stolen '' shifty eyes''



But year im sure there are alot of nice American girls out there ! but i personally would not go out with one due to their accents and the fact they only get with me for my accent... its abit :S anyways

It's a good question and one I have considered a lot.America is a vast and varied culture.I have worked with and dated American women in my past while working as a Steward on the cruise liners.

I found such variety in ideas and liked some...most people I met.

I find the Americans open and honest with their views and feelings.This is a good trait along with a respect for hard working people.

The women are often strong and forthright...which is good for me.

I admire intelligence and in a woman a fit bod is always important.

I admire Katherine Hepburn,Goldie Hawn & Jane Fonda for her passion for peace and her gentle nature...and fit bod.She is a great American woman.

I also like Sarah Silverman,a great modern American comedian who's witty,sexy and intelligent.

If I met the right woman,race and culture would not matter.

Peace comes from good communication and variety to trade against.This is why we should not strive to be the same.Variety is the spice of life.

Most British men find women of any and all nationalities appealing.



So yes. If you're female you are very appealing. The American thing is pretty much irrelevant.



That said, if women have a certain kind of American accent it certainly doesn't detract from their overall appeal. I could listen to some American accents falling from the lips of American women all day long - it just never gets old :oP

Im a girl, and do not swing that way, just a passing comment.



I hate how people generalise British accents, etc as though they are all the same. The U.K is 4 different countries(if you want) and they all sound different. Scottish accents sound nothing like English, or Irish or Welsh, but loads of people just associate Britain with England, **** the rest. Britain is not just one country, and no one seems to get that. And tbh even saying English accents are hot is too generalised (just an example, the majority of them make me want to spew.) because in any country the accents are all different. Geordies sound different to scousers, and they are both from the same country. Apparently people who do not live here don't understand all of this, when you are in the U.K, people can usually tell by your accent which country you are from at least. But as soon as you leave if I speak all I hear for the next half hour, is Where are you from England? Or Where abouts in England are you from? It really annoys me, because I am Scottish, and can't go being called english, why does no one get it?



And to answer your question, your nationality isn't why guys are atracted to you, sure accent might help, but being realistic a guy isnt going to go for an ugly girl, with a bad attitude because she is American, and turn down a pretty girl who is polite, because she is french. Get where Im going with this??

Yeah lol and thank you :). honestly though i not so sure many british guys find american girls appealing in that sense as the accents are not so apparent in america. but a lot of british guys love american girls in general so good luck :). oh and we have so many accents here, i am not too sure which one you mean you like but they variate slightly depending on what city you are in and irish, scottish, welsh and english sound completely different. american girls are hot too

I think there is always an attraction from girls and boys from another country.

I lived in the USA for a year and yes the girls there are more vocal than english girls but they were some of the best looking, confident and happy girls i have ever met. My first love was an american girl from north dakota lol wow i still remember her now.

I am from London and i wouldn't hesitate in asking out an American girl.

Still don't get our accent thing lol could you try to explain it to me ( hot words only lol )

I think they are just indifferent to american girls. Never heard a guy here say they love american girls but some probably do. They just never really talk about loving or not liking american girls.
