I have a Spanish project and we have to compare the incas to an Indian tribe and my group chose apaches.. Idk how there alike. I already have a lot of differences but honestly have no idea how there alike and since everyone in my group is slow and doesn't feel like helping I'm left to do the entire thing by myself so I could use a little help please. I only need like 4 comparisons :)

Though the Incas were much more developed than the Apaches. You can say they both warred with their neighbors from other nations and tribes, both of whom had vast territories. Both had no writing system. I believe they both farmed a little bit of corn (Apaches hunted and gathered more and the Incas were mostly potato, guinea pig and llama farmers), but I could be wrong. They both were mostly using stone tools, before European invasion (although in South America Metal smith was evolving and developing). Most died from European disease and warfare, and never saw a Horse til the Spanish European invaded their lands. Both eventually lost to the invaders, though the Apache did lasted longer and whoop the Spanish and Mexicans' butt, for centuries, and put up a good fight against the Americans.

Google Earth can take you to both Apache and Inca lands.

Pore over the available photography. I suggest New Mexico,

Mescalero Apache Reservation, northeast of Cloudcroft .

the only things i can think of are both used animals as a resource; the inca used llamas, guinea pigs, and the apache used adopted horses and both used cloth clothing in constrast to animal skins, and both are said to have wore head bands instead of feathers; both suffered at the hands of the spanish; as the spanish slaughtered inca people; and the spanish and their latino decendants murdered apache people to gain dominance on the northern mexico frontier; both had converts whether voluntary or by force to catholicism ; and both were given spanish names; against their will mostly; and both resisted the spanish in historical battles of survival; the incan prince tupac amaru vs the spanish; and geronimo/cochise vs the spanish and their mexican decendents
