Because he might have some Asian ancestry...you know, there's no way of knowing unless he had a dna test. There's "Asian" dna from over a thousand years ago in Cheshire, because some of the Vikings that settled in the villages there were Scandinavian natives (Sami)...in Scandinavia it's quite common to have eyes like that, especially among the Sami...although Scandinavians normally count as white.

Asian is more than just the eyes, it is the bone structure and the shape of the face...

look at Bjork she's no Asian, but she is got all the components that make her look Asian.

with all the appropriated components even a black person can look primordially Asian.

(just like having brown skin or afro hair would make you look black)

EDIT:

people might not be able to see it, but there is not specific physical fractures to been Chinese or any kind of Asian.

east Asians like any other race, can have big, small, flat or cute like bottom noses...

they can have big round eyes and still have no fold, an Asian person can have thin lips or big lips, long faces or round faces, high cheek bones or long chins...

beautiful or ugly, that does not affect it, there are certain features that have to match the other in order for a person to look Asian... which that guy does not have.

He has epicanthal folds, Any person of any race can have those, its possible that maybe he has or had an Asian Ancestor? The Theory is that the Epicanthal Fold developed somewhere around Eurasia like in Mongolia where the weather was extreme, and peoples eyes needed protection from sunlight bouncing off of light surfaces like snow, needed protection from cold harsh winds, cold weather and from dust and sand flying aroun.d

Asians are the closest racial relative to whites. Native Americans also came from Asians as well. Whites and Asians both share Neanderthal genes, probably why they look so different from black people who are purely Homosapien and don't have much of the genes whites and Asians share.

You know Caucasians originally came from Asians right? So the features are usually very subtle but they do pop up from time to time.

The more you know.

Because you say he does, and everyone knows if you say something, it must be true! (His eyes don't look particularly "Asian" to me, but a lot of non-Asians have epicanthic folds, like Nelson Mandela and the late River Phoenix.)

I think I answered this question already, but it's because of his other facial features, his hair, and his skin tone..

He has a narrow nose. Asians only have broad noses.
