Ok I might sound really naive right now but I just found out the KKK are still around and recruiting!
How did that happen?
How can anyone seriously grow up in this modern world and think that someone’s skin colour affects their worth?!
Are there still Nazis around??

Northern Idaho was until recently know for its high levels of white supremacy activity. Skinheads, Neo-Nazis and the KKK were all until very active. They came under the common banner of Aryan Nations. (they may say it's different, but it's all the same racist ideals)



The Neo-Nazis actually have a little known political party here in America, along with socialists and other parties most people have never heard of.

Just because there isn't any heavily frequent Church burnings, hangings, open KKK hatred or Nazis outright murdering dozens of Jewish people does not mean the loathing has ended. There are people doing these activities in secrete, probably waiting for the right time to spring up. I have not let down my guard, and neither should anyone else. Its a pity though, humans are the self-proclaimed "smartest animal" yet they cannot do something as simple as accept the color of someones skin., unlike dogs.

Sadly yes. Many people can't see value in themselves just as human beings, so they have to cling to something arbitrary like their race or color to feel good about themselves. It's tragic but they are simply too blind to see anything else of value in themselves. So naturally, if they're going to sit around obsessing about their color, they gravitate toward other people who are also obsessing about it. They really need to be around these people a lot for reinforcement of the illusion/delusion or else it starts to crumble immediately -- and along with that, their self esteem. This is why they organize and this is why they commit their acts of hatred. It's all just to keep them from feeling miserable about themselves every moment of the day. As you can see, they'd be a lot better off in some kind of longterm psychotherapy to heal their sense of self-worth than in these violent, antisocial activities. But it can be hard to convince a truly desperate person not to go for the immediate gratification (even if it only helps them in the short term) and choose instead a longterm, healthy solution. I think as long as there is insecurity in the world, there will always be people who clump together to create conflict with and try to victimize other people -- even though that never ever solves the original problem. It's disgusting and tragic.
