I love America, not because of the war, or anything along those lines but because this is my home. I grew up here and it's familiarity forced me to love it. My home, no matter how many screw ups it makes, it is still my home.

The contributions my country has made to the world have been immeasurable. The most glaring one being the defeat of Nazi Germany. Had we not intervened, the krauts would have gotten the bomb and the whole world would be saluting the swashtika to this very day.

Then there's the automobile, the airplane, the computer, the internet, innoculations, the lightbulb...could go on and on here.

Then there's the ease at which I uprooted my miserable life in WV to move to Texas and have led a much happier life. You can't do that in just any country.

Freedom of speech

Because we have the freedom to speak our views and live the way we choose. (didn't mean to make the rhyme there.) I'm glad to know if I feel like a religion is bull sh*t I don't have to worship. If I feel against something I don't have to support it. GOD BLESS AMERICA

Not everybody loves the USA. Many of us don't even like it. We do not think you have "brave" people going to war. What is honourable about killing other people? So what if you have freedoms to be on the computer? So do many others in the world - who are NOT invading countries against their will.

It feeds me, gives me a place to raise a family and do (mostly) whatever i want. There's reasons i dislike it too, but you gotta take the good with the bad etc.

Because it's my homeland and we have the freedom of speech and religion.

I don't. I wish that I would've been born in Canada.
