Which race of the opposite (or same, whatever floats your boat) sex do you see yourself with in the long run?

I mean this in the sense of marriage, for those who believe in it anyways. Note, it's kinda long. Enjoy.

My friend asked me this question yesterday, and I honestly didn't know how to answer her at first. While I have no racial preferences as to who I date, I did admit to her that I tend to get along with and have more in common with non-Black girls than I do with my own race. This isn't to say that I don't get along or have anything in common with Black girls, because I'd be lying.

I suppose that, in retrospect, I typically get along with White girls more than I do Black girls. I don't really know why, and I'm done trying to figure it out. If you're going to criticize me for that, then just leave now. I've come to the realization that it's not even a physical thing, because there is a good balance of attractive Black (non-Hispanic), White(non-Hispanic), Asian (non-Hispanic), and Hispanic girls. That was for the PC police who tend to lecture people about the matter of Hispanic vs. non-Hispanic people. We get it already, you all know what I'm talking about.

I suppose it's more of a personality/common interests issue. So, in essence, what this means is that if she's cute, smart, possess a personality that won't make me contemplate suicide after talking to her for 5 minutes, then I'll (try to, at the very least) date her, no problemo. I'm done rambling, and if you're still reading the question by now, feel free to discuss. Please, we don't need any negativity here. Currently, I get along with White and Hispanic guys more than I get along with Black guys.

lol Honestly, I feel like I will end up marrying a man from the West Indies meaning he could be any race. As far as race go. . . .He can be anything. West Indies men come in many colors and spice. Culture matters to me and he has to be Catholic like me. If I marry an American man than more likely he will not be Black because a majority of Blacks in America are not Catholic. He will probably be Hispanics or White. Religion is a big deal because I need a partner who is Catholic but at the same spiritual level with me. Besides religion, there are other qualities I seek in a man. I have no and have done so in the past.



Overall I'm very selective with who I date and if a guy does not have the quality that I'm looking for than I will not waste my time with him. I evaluate their personality and the connection. I know what I want in a man, I just have not found him. I'm picky and i will not settle for less.



My advice to you is to not worry about the race but seek someone who has qualities that you like.

Well being biracial I have been exposed to both black and white people. In the past I usually didn't go for white or black guys unless they had an exotic edge to them.



All that bullchit aside, I honestly don't care. I don't care about the image like I did when I was younger. I just want a man that will love me unconditionally, who cares what his background is?



Like you said it is just whomever I click with and i try not to be superficial and go for things like nationality or ethnicity...I will give anyone a chance if they prove worthy.

I'm half black and half native american indian, and my boyfriend is the same.



If he and I were to break up for some reason, I would probably just end up with a black or a native american guy.

well at the moment that would be asian (the wife being one and all kinda attests to that) however if that doesn't work i haven't a clue, my life is funny like that, i can't be bothered asking questions i know i have no answer to, whatever comes comes
